The Coaches

“It’s not how good you are, it’s how good you want to be!”

At Level Up, our coaches are more than just teachers of football — they’re mentors, role models, and champions of every child’s growth on and off the pitch.

Each member of our coaching team is FA-qualified, safeguarding-trained, and passionate about helping young players develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. We believe football is about teamwork, respect, and enjoyment — and our coaches bring those values into every session.

From fun introductory sessions for beginners to advanced training for competitive players, our coaches tailor their approach to each child’s age, ability, and goals. Every session is designed to be safe, inclusive, and full of energy,  because we know that when kids are having fun, they learn faster and play better!

Whether your child dreams of becoming a professional player or simply wants to enjoy the game with friends, our dedicated coaching team is here to inspire, guide, and support them every step of the way.

NATHAN MORGAN

FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

Football has always been a huge part of my life, but it was during my Level 2 FA Football Coaching qualification that I truly discovered my passion for coaching. I realised how rewarding it was to help players grow in confidence, improve their skills, and reach goals they never thought possible.

Already deeply involved in grassroots football, I began offering 1-to-1 coaching sessions to give players more focused support and guidance. Seeing the difference this made inspired me to take things further — and in September 2019, Level Up was born.

From the start, my aim has been simple: to create a positive, challenging, and enjoyable environment where players can develop both on and off the pitch. I take pride in delivering high-quality sessions that keep players motivated, engaged, and always learning something new.

To continue growing as a coach, I enrolled at the University of Plymouth Marjon to study Football Development & Coaching, and I’m now working towards my UEFA B Licence. I’m always looking for new and creative ways to help players reach their full potential. I’m incredibly proud of how far Level Up has come in such a short time. None of this would be possible without the talented players I’ve had the privilege to coach and the amazing parents who have supported the journey from the start. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Level Up  and for every player who chooses to be part of it.
